The 401k Plan in particular is a great way to meet your retirement savings goals through pretax payroll deductions. Eligibility is the first of the month following 30 days of employment and at least 18 years of age. The employee may contribute any amount up to 15% of their pay on a before tax basis through payroll deduction with the current calendar year maximum. Numerous investment options are available to maximize your retirement holdings. IMS offers extensive Medical Insurance through Blue Shield of California. The employee may choose between the HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) or PPO (Preferred Provider Organization), with coverage to become effective on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. IMS will pay for our full time salaried employee's insurance, dependent insurance may be purchased at the employee's cost. Contractors may purchase Medical Insurance through IMS. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. IMS will pay for our full time salaried employee's insurance, dependent insurance may be purchased at the employee's cost. Contractors may purchase Dental Insurance through IMS. Please call or e-mail your recruiter for the cost of coverage. A Cafeteria (125) Plan is offered through Great West Life Insurance Company. A Flexible Benefits Account (FBA) is a valuable benefit that offers the opportunity to save tax dollars. Eligibility is effective on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. The FBA plan gives you three ways to save: 1) Pretax Premium deduction. 2) Health Care Account 3) Dependent Care Account. Credit Union IMS belongs to the Southern California Central Credit Union. Employee Referral Bonus IMS will pay a referral bonus to anyone who recommends another individual who IMS then places on an assignment. Referral bonuses are available for contracting and direct hire candidates. Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage is also available through Standard Insurance, in the amount of $15,000. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. IMS will pay for full time employee's insurance. Contractors may purchase Life Insurance through IMS. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. IMS will pay for the full time employee's insurance.
